Grilling Salmon

More salmon Videos

Need some good salmon recipes? Chef Jason Hill grills up this delicious maple-glazed salmon, which you can also prepare on a soaked cedar plank. The flavor is much like an Oregon smoked salmon, without all the fuss! There are a variety of way to grilling salmon. This grilled salmon recipe is one of the easiest. 1/2 cup real maple syrup 1/2 cup soy sauce 1 teaspon garlic-shallot puree or 1 clove chopped garlic In a large casserole dish, pour the marinade over the salmon and turn after 15 minutes and marinate another 15 minutes. Preheat grill to high. Spray with cooking spray. Grill a few minutes on each side. Brush with marinade while grilling. Look for the opaque juices running from the fish. Its a good indication that the fish is done.

How about orange juice for a marinade? To much acid? Thanks!
Posted Mar 12 2010 4:35AM by TheVittleVlog
@TheVittleVlog Hello. A citrus cream sauce using orange juice is excellent over salmon. A marinade using OJ, olive oil, garlic and some parsley would also be great for salmon. When marinating seafood with any acid base, marinade for no more than 30 minutes.

@TheVittleVlog Hahaa! It's 1-800-555-CHEF Try this marinade for 2 to 4 salmon steaks. 1/2 cup of OJ 1/2 to 3/4 cup olive oil 1 clove of minced garlic 1 tsp brown sugar 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley. Mix well and poor over the salmon and marinade for 30 minutes. Lightly salt and pepper your salmon before placing on the grill. Cheers!
